  “A project started 3+ years ago. alot of time and tweaking spent on getting our instruments set up to achieve the vision we have of taking live electronic music to a new level of playability. both musicians first (joshua-drums,joe-guitar)….it goes like this- both have spent many years in various music projects, be it funk,rock, metal, djing, experimental noise, breakcore, jungle/drum&bass, disco………well, we like a lot of different music and it comes through in our songwriting through ZEROBEAT.”
  Zerobeat completely succeeds in their mission to present electronic music at a new level of live performance and playability. They sound like machines. And maybe they are. You have to see it to believe it. Their sound is like a combination of drum and bass influenced breaks, 70’s cop chase scene music and a night out trick or treating. We love it. Happy Halloween.

  Call Me Lightning has long been one of Milwaukee’s most popular indie-rock bands, packing clubs with its roaring mix of arena-rock stomp and punk-rock energy. The band’s 2010 album, When I Am Gone My Blood Will Be Free, is a typically hard-charging yet tuneful collection of songs—imagine if Tommy-era Who cut its teeth in Milwaukee’s Riverwest basement scene—and was easily the city’s best local record last year. There’s been no word on new material from the band, though hearing When I Am Gone’s giddily epic rockers blasted live is unlikely to grow old any time soon.
