Four years have gone by since Nikki and Jessi spat in their palms and slapped hands in a promise that would become Those Darlins. Since then, they’ve broken hearts and broken bones, all the while honing their chops and gaining a lifetime of experiences through endless touring: bros to the bitter end.
Screws Get Loose is their second album--and the first to show off drummer Linwood Regensburg stepping up as a songwriter. Each song bears the scars of the highs and lows they’ve soldiered through together on the road, accentuating the realities of growing up in a rock and roll band.
Those Darlins are: Jessi Darlin (Guitar/Bass), Nikki Darlin (Guitar/Bass), Linwood Regensburg (Drums/Guitar).
Also playing, Milwaukee's The Delta Routine and Calliope
The Delta Routine is a Milwaukee-based band committed to the project of reviving passion, emotion and raw energy in the rock’n’roll tradition.
While paying homage to the greats of classic rock and blues, The Delta Routine brings a unique, refreshingly-modern interpretation of rock music that is satisfying to both the critically-minded avid music listener looking for layered arrangments and
intricate compositions as well as the pop-music-loving non-musician who only desires danceable, catchy tunes.
Calliope is a four-piece rock band that was forged between the forces of the sun and the moon in a Riverwest basement sometime during the year of our Lord, 2010. Calliope's sound has evolved into a dynamic and eclectic blend of serious rock-n-roll with dark shades of psychedelia and groove. Calliope is hell-bent on bringing a little bit of madness, some heavy boot stomping and a lot of fun to a live music venue... or circus near you.
