- Four-time Grammy® award winner Lyle Lovett and His Accoustic Group always shake things up with an eclectic array of music styles incorporating country, folk, pop and big-band swing. Lovett is one of the most distinctive and original artists to break into music, originally being billed a country artist, but shifting into an unknown genre with a large cult following. Lovett combines his witty lyrics with a big band-style ensemble complete with guitars, a cellist, a pianist, a horn section, and a gospel-trained backup singer. His long string of hit singles include “Cowboy Man,” “If I Had a Boat,” “Family Reserve,” “Private Conversation,” “That’s Right (You’re Not From Texas),” “I’ve Been to Memphis,” and “Give Back My Heart.”
